I was having a really difficult time last year. I lost my job, I got dumped by my boyfriend, and I didn't really have any friends because I had moved to a new town. I ended up drinking a lot, on the weekends at first, and then every day. There is a history of alcoholism in my family, so I started to be afraid that I was going to have an alcohol addiction problem.
I started looking for help for my problems. I started looking for a job, and I tried meeting up with different new people so that I had someone to talk to. I started going to California Alcohol Awareness Classes so I would be careful with my alcohol intake, and I stopped buying alcohol even though it seemed to temporarily make me feel better. Months later, I have a job and I am doing much better, so it was all worth it.
