My son is so silly. He and some friends had a big party at their house last weekend. It got a little crazy and the police were called after 11 pm. The police pretty much gave everyone there a Minor In Possession ticket, even the person who was the designated driver. My son thinks that if he takes Minor in Possession Classes he may be able to get his ticket reduced or waved. He is going to ask for approval to take them online because he works on the weekends when the classes are available and he's afraid of losing his job if he can't put in enough hours. Anything to keep his record clean is important to me. I really enjoyed having fun in college myself. I know that part of being in college and becoming an adult is having freedom and learning how to make better, more mature decisions. I just hope he comes out the other side of this experience without damaging his chances for the future. Maybe some Minor in Posession Classes will help him to realize the consequences of his actions so that he can make better choices.
