My Brother-In-Law's Battle with Drugs and Alcohol

We have been trying to do everything that we can to help out my brother-in-law. When he turned 16 years old he got involved with some individuals who introduced him to drugs and alcohol. Unfortunately for my brother-in-law he has an extremely addictive personality. So when he was presented with these two substances that are highly addictive he fell into the trap. It was not long before the rest of the family noticed that my brother-in-law was having a battle with drugs and alcohol. We have tried a lot of things to help him, but because of his addictive personality it has been difficult for him to stay away from drugs for an extended period of time. His drug and alcohol addiction has caused untold pain and suffering to everyone in our family. Right now my brother-in-law is considering taking an alcohol and drug awareness class.  We're suggesting he take it online, in the hopes that the ease will get him to actually do it. I hope that he will take this class and that it will do him some good.
