He Teaches from His Experience

When my friend's son was arrested on drug charges, we thought he would be in a lot of trouble. The District Attorney had said he was waging a war against drugs, so we feared the worst. We were all grateful that the judge considered that he had no prior record and he was reacting to his father's death. The judge seemed to really understand and sympathize with his behavior and ordered him to take an alcohol and drug education class which he gladly did. He knew he had messed up, and he was grateful for the chance to redeem himself. He actually did a lot more than that. He decided to make a career out of his experiences and became a drug counselor himself when he became an adult. He has helped so many young people when they have made a life changing decision in the wrong direction.
